Dedicated Talent / Professions / Outsourced Bookkeeping

Outsourced bookkeeping, run by a dedicated bookkeeper you choose.

We recruit bookkeepers in Kosovo and send you a shortlist within days. You interview them and pick the one you want; the median from brief to your bookkeeper actually working is 10 days. They work in your systems, on your process: QuickBooks or Xero, your chart of accounts, your close calendar, U.S. hours. Outsorcy is their legal employer. We run payroll and compliance in Kosovo, and if the placement does not work out, we replace them at no cost.

A dedicated bookkeeper through Outsorcy costs up to 70% less than a comparable U.S. hire.

When companies outsource the bookkeeping seat.

The pattern

None of these needs a finance department.

Each one needs a competent person who owns the books every day. That is the version of outsourced bookkeeping Outsorcy sells: the person, employed by us, working for you.

01

The books close three weeks after month end, every month.

02

Vendors are chasing you about unpaid invoices because nobody owns the AP aging.

03

There is no monthly reporting pack, so decisions wait on the year-end accountant.

04

Your bookkeeper just left, and the handover is a shared drive and goodwill.

Scope

What your bookkeeper will own.

The workload is the same one you would hand an in-house bookkeeper. Most engagements cover:

  • Accounts payable and vendor payments
  • Accounts receivable and collections follow-up
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Journal entries and the chart of accounts
  • Payroll coordination
  • The monthly close
  • A monthly reporting pack

You set the priorities and the process. We do not provide tax filing or audit work, and we do not manage your books for you: the bookkeeper reports to you, not to us.

Building more than one seat, say a bookkeeper plus an AP specialist or a controller? The offshore accounting team page covers that setup.

How outsourced bookkeeping works with Outsorcy.

01

Send the brief.

Tell us the systems you run, the transaction volume, and what the role should own: the close, AP/AR, payroll coordination, reporting. That brief is what we screen against.

02

Interview the shortlist.

We screen for English fluency and bookkeeping experience in U.S. workflows, and you get a shortlist within days. You interview everyone on it and choose. If nobody fits, the second shortlist costs nothing.

03

They start. We stay the employer.

The median from brief to your bookkeeper working is 10 days. Outsorcy employs them in Kosovo, runs their payroll, and carries the compliance. You direct the work from day one.

Who this is for, and who it is not.

A fit

Companies in the U.S. and Europe that want outsourced bookkeeping without giving up the process. You already run your books in QuickBooks, Xero or similar and want a dedicated person on them, at a cost that does not require a U.S. salary line. You keep the process and the management; you stop doing the work yourself.

Not a fit

If you want a firm to take the books off your plate entirely and hand back a monthly report, that is a managed bookkeeping service, a different product from ours. With Outsorcy the process stays yours and the bookkeeper answers to you. We also do not provide tax filing, audit, or U.S. CPA attest work: your CPA keeps those, and your bookkeeper prepares the schedules and 1099 data they ask for.

Pricing

What outsourced bookkeeping costs.

Outsourced bookkeeping through Outsorcy is priced as employment, not as a service tier. You pay two things.

The one-time onboarding fee, billed when you confirm your candidate, covers the hire’s equipment, bought to your spec: the laptop, headset, and peripherals the role needs.

The monthly fee runs for as long as they work with you, with a six-month minimum, and nothing else is itemized on top of it.

The same seat costs up to 70% less than a comparable U.S. hire.

The rest of what makes the employment work is Outsorcy’s to carry:
  • Recruiting and the shortlists
  • The employment contract and legal employer duties in Kosovo
  • Payroll and local compliance
  • A desk in our Pristina office with HR on-site, if you want the role office-based
  • Replacement at no cost if it does not work out

Where this is already working.

At Virgil, a U.S. startup-services company, the finance team Outsorcy placed grew from one person to three in under a year. The first, Blerona Zylfiu, came in as FinOps Lead; Virgil’s CFO now brings her into every finance hire. The first Virgil role was placed and working in 14 days.

Frequently asked questions

What does an outsourced bookkeeper handle? +
Day-to-day ownership of the books: AP and vendor payments, AR and collections follow-up, reconciliations, journal entries, payroll coordination, the monthly close, and a monthly reporting pack. The scope is set by your brief.
Who manages them day to day? +
You do. They join your standups and work the way your team works. HR in our Pristina office checks attendance when they work on-site, and that is the extent of our involvement in their day: supervision of presence, not management of the work.
What happens if they leave, or it does not work out? +
We replace them at no cost. At the hiring stage the same policy applies to the shortlist: if nobody on the first list fits, the second list costs nothing.
How fast can an outsourced bookkeeper take over our books? +
The shortlist arrives within days and the median from brief to the person working is 10 days. How fast they fully own the close depends on the state of the books; a clean file transfers in the first weeks, a messy one starts with cleanup, and we will say which one you have.
Is our financial data safe with someone remote? +
They work inside your accounting systems, with the access you grant and revoke. NDAs are standard, and the office option means the person works from our Pristina office with HR present rather than alone on a personal machine.
Do you do tax filing? +
No. Bookkeeping, close and reporting only. Tax filing, audit and attest work stay with your CPA, and your bookkeeper prepares whatever schedules the CPA asks for.
