Keeping Virta’s SDR team covered

Outsorcy has staffed the sales development team at Virta Health since January 2026. When Virta's sales manager role became vacant, Altin Gashi from Outsorcy stepped into that role at Virta for six weeks, until Virta's own replacement started.

The sales development team at Virta

Virta is a US company that treats type 2 diabetes and obesity through a nutrition-first program, selling to health plans and large employers. Its sales development representatives are employed by Outsorcy and directed by Virta. Their reporting line sat with a sales manager Virta employed directly.

Cover while Virta recruited

In April 2026 that role became vacant. Ema Fetahi, who runs the account at Outsorcy, and Altin Gashi met Lindsey Cuny at Virta to agree how the team would be covered in the meantime.

Covering the role

They agreed that Altin would step into the sales manager role at Virta on a temporary basis. He worked with the SDRs daily for those six weeks and joined Virta's sales team meetings, implementing the coaching and sales strategies the team ran while the seat was covered.

He held the role until Virta hired a permanent sales manager. Virta recruited that person themselves, outside Outsorcy.
