Business & Professional Exchange, Inc. (BPE) was established in October 1976 by Joan M. Shaw to fulfill the need of a 24 Hour Telephone Answering Service need for businesses and professionals located in Melrose, MA. BPE began operations on January 28, 1977 as Melrose Answering Service in Melrose, MA with just a single 557B PBX Telephone Switchboard, servicing six clients./nBPE has relocated twice in its 40 plus year history. We moved to 414 Main Street, Melrose on January 28, 1982.
