Kynda (Kin - Duh) is the Old Norse word meaning "to light or tend a fire" and is also the root word for Kindle. Kindle has the additional meanings of "arouse or inspire (an emotion or feeling)" and to "become impassioned or excited."/nWe believe the meaning of the word Kynda, best reflects what we do. Our goal as storytellers is to spark interest in our viewers, lighting the fire. We strive for our content to encourage our audience to feel certain emotions, leading some to become passionate enough to act on their own. Maintaining this flame as it grows evermore./nOverall, as we see it, its that initial ignition that makes a fire a great simile for the creative process. No matter the scale of your project or the magnitude of your obstacles./nWhen our founder Caelan Fisher first started Kynda Productions, he was working extensively in the film industry pursuing his passions in visual storytelling. In middle school, he discovered the power film had in telling stories and delivering messages to audiences. By high school his professors began letting him make scripted videos in place of essays for class! He followed this passion to the University of Montana where he earned his BFA in Media Arts and immediately started working in the film industry. Along the way, he gained many mentors who taught him the fundamentals of professional filmmaking. These learned skills and techniques are now applied to every client project of Kynda Productions. /n Film can inspire action and make change by captivating the minds of its audience.
